Richard Barrett is an author, presenter, coach and internationally recognised thought leader on the evolution of human values in business and society. He is the President of the Barrett Academy for the Advancement of Human Values®, the Founder of the Barrett Values Centre®, a Fellow of the World Business Academy and Former Values Coordinator at the World Bank.
Richard's Career Highlights
1995 – 1997: Values Coordinator at the World Bank. Led an organization-wide inquiry into the values, beliefs and behaviours of World Bank staff.
1997: Formed the Barrett Values Centre® to develop values-based metrics to support organizations in their leadership and cultural transformation programs. Created the Cultural Transformation Tools based on the Seven Levels of Consciousness Model – an extension and expansion of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.

Created the Humanity Awareness Initiative: First 4-day meeting in Oxford of 12 people from all over the world.
Formed the Barrett Academy for the Advancement of Human Values to support deep personal transformation (ego-soul dynamics) and societal transformation (worldview dynamics).
